Founder
Founder and CEO of Bamboudesign, Marine Leroux is a veteran in the rollout of web and mobile sites and applications in a global context.
Marine brings fourteen years of design and management experience in web and mobile technology, complex ecommerce applications, multimedia, ecommerce and online marketing. She launched Bamboudesign in Paris in 2004, specializing in web site and application user experience design, then in San Francisco in 2008 focusing on "smart" mobile application development. As Bamboudesign's CEO, she brings quality and intelligence into the mobile applications the company develops for consumers and professionals.
In previous positions, Marine helped develop, launch and manage Adobe’s international online stores and sales. She consulted with Cap Gemini on change management for large corporations, headed the development of French bank BNP Paribas' Securities online presence, as well as Palo Alto firm Fawcette Technical Publications' web presence, and co-authored e-learning products for Microsoft.
She is a regular speaker on mobile design and technology, user experience, and women entrepreneurs to mobile professionals, schools, and TV.
Born and raised in France, Marine currently lives in San Francisco, California and holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from West Chester State University of Pennsylvania.
